Treemendous Cards - Ecommerce Website
Treemendous Cards were created by the same team behind Great Big Trees. This extension of the product is positioned as a seasonal or occasion orientated gift, i.e. Christmas trees within a Christmas card.
Unlike its sister company, Treemendous cards no longer aims at a niche market and instead wants to strive for a much wider consumer demographic. As a result the challenging aspect of this project was how to break into the novelty and occasional gift/card market. The brief required that the management system for the website should mimic the existing area within Great Big Trees.
An e-commerce website was developed using the same management system as Great Big Trees. The site included a corporate area and online competition. A number of online and offline marketing activities were organised to push traffic towards the website, including mail-shot campaigns and the attendance of trade fairs.
